Travel arrangements and prices detailed on www.highlifeholidayproperties.com.au are provided and coordinated by Highlife Holiday Properties. Highlife Holiday Properties has taken due care and responsibility to verify and check all information in www.highlifeholidayproperties.com.au as at the time of compilation. However, as the relevant accommodation & tour operators on this website supply this information, it accepts no responsibility for any inaccuracy or misdescription contained within this website or information as so supplied. Sales of services as contained in this publication are made by Highlife Holiday Properties, only as an agent for the person, business or company providing the services. Highlife Holiday Properties does not accept responsibility for any changes in price variation of services shown. All services and prices are subject to change without notice. All maps, photographs, illustrations and computer-based graphics are included for general purposes only and are not always indicative of the subject matter. PRIVACY POLICY

We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of any personally identifiable information (PII) you provide us. PII includes information that can be linked to a specific individual, such as name, address, phone number, or email address. This privacy policy explains how www.highlifeholidayproperties.com.au handles and protects your PII in accordance with commonly accepted privacy principles. Highlife Holiday Properties reserves the right to modify or amend this policy at any time and for any reason. Any material changes to this privacy policy will be posted prior to their implementation. WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

In an effort to keep our service as simple and easy as possible we do not create, use or store profiles of our customers. We only record PII and other information that we reasonably require to do business with you.  Highlife Holiday Properties collects PII when you:  Make a booking Your full name, email address and phone number are taken each time you make a booking with www.highlifeholidayproperties.com.au. Contact info@highlifeholidayproperties.com.au for any information you require.Highlife Holiday Properties collects PII such as your full name, , email address and/or telephone number whenever you submit a query or suggestion, or request assistance with a booking. Highlife Holiday Properties uses your PII only for the purpose of responding to and fulfilling your requests for our products and services. Information collected on www.highlifeholidayproperties.com.au may be used to: Purchase www.highlifeholidayproperties.com.au products or services. Information collected when you purchase from www.highlifeholidayproperties.com.au is used to charge your credit card and deliver your booking confirmation electronically. We may also contact you about your stay for customer service purposes or to make any changes or cancellations to your booking.  Respond to your questions or suggestions. We will use your, email address and/or telephone number to contact you when you submit a question or suggestion.

WHO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH

Highlife Holiday Properties does not disclose any information about customer bookings to anyone except in the following circumstances: 

• Accommodation suppliers

Highlife Holiday Properties provides the guest name, telephone number, address and email address for each booking made to the relevant accommodation supplier. Our accommodation suppliers require this information for the booking and if they need to contact you about the booking. Although Highlife Holiday Properties offers accommodation from reputable accommodation suppliers, we have not placed specific limitations on these suppliers from using or disclosing your information without your permission. Therefore, we encourage you to review the privacy policies of any suppliers whose accommodation you purchase on www.highlifeholidayproperties.com.au.

• Legal obligations

Highlife Holiday Properties may be required by law to disclose information provided by you to Highlife Holiday Properties for the purposes of obtaining products or services from www.highlifeholidayproperties.com.au. Highlife Holiday Properties may also disclose information against someone who poses a threat to Highlife Holiday Propertiess interests (such as customer fraud) or whose activities could cause harm to others.

HOW YOU CONTROL AND ACCESS YOUR INFORMATION

Highlife Holiday Properties believes that site visitors and customers should have control over the collection and use of their PII. You have control and access to your information as follows:  Booking information If at anytime you would like to alter the PII you provided to Highlife Holiday Properties in your booking, please contact us at info@highlifeholidayproperties.com.au.  General If at anytime you wish to enquire about any of your PII that is stored by Highlife Holiday Properties please contact us at info@highlifeholidayproperties.com.au

VALIDITY OF RATES

Accommodation costs are for room only and do not include transfer or breakfast cost unless otherwise stated. Prices are inclusive of the Australian Goods and Services Tax. Prices over accommodation block out periods may alter from the prices advertised. Contact us for further details. Payment is due within 72 hours of receiving written confirmation from Visitor Centre. Please proceed to our "Secure Payment" form to submit credit card details. Whilst we provide a Free Booking Service, cancellations of Confirmed bookings (where payment has been made) will result in the loss of the initial deposit. Also if the cancellation is made within six (6) weeks of the stay, a percentage of the balance will also be forfeit, depending on when the booking is cancelled. We reserve the right to offer alternative accommodation/tour of a similar standard in the case of the accommodation/tour operator overbooking their property or for any reason beyond our control. 

DISCLAIMER

Highlife Holiday Properties makes no representations of fact, nature, quality and suitability about any or all of theactivities promoted on this site and user agrees that the user shall be responsible for first satisfying himself/herself by independent enquiry or advice as to the suitability of the particular activity. Any access of this site by the user is entirely at the users own risk and Highlife Holiday Properties shall not be responsible for the propagation of computer worms or viruses transmitted from the site. All information on this web site is correct at time of publishing. All companies listed are members of the Highlife Holiday Properties. This web site may contain information about activities which by reason of their physical exertion or the degree of physical fitness required may be unsuitable or dangerous for certain persons, or it may describe activities which are inherently dangerous.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

Reservations for short term holiday accommodation are accepted by HIGHLIFE Holiday Properties of 2/238 Naturaliste Terrace, Dunsborough WA 6281 (“the Booking Agent”) as agent for the Owner of the Property and to which bookings the following terms and conditions shall apply:

RENTAL CONTRACT

The rental contact is between the Guest and the Owner of the Property for which the accommodation booking is made and is subject to the terms and conditions herein. The contract for accommodation shall not be effective until Highlife Holiday Properties sends the Guest written confirmation of the booking. The Guest acknowledges that Highlife Holiday Properties acts as a booking agent for the Owner only and not as a principal.

DEPOSIT

The accommodation booking will be held for a period of no more than 24 hours by Highlife Holiday Properties, within which time the Guest’s deposit payment must be received and cleared. If the accommodation booking is made within six (6) weeks of the date of commencement of the Guest’s proposed holiday, the full rental payable for the Property is required together with any bond, credit card information and any other payment applicable.

FINAL PAYMENT

The full amount payable in respect of the Property rental shall be paid at least eight (8) weeks prior to the date of commencement of the booking. If the full payment has not been received by Highlife Holiday Properties at least twenty eight (28) days prior to the start of the rental period, then Highlife Holiday Properties and the Owner reserve the right to cancel the booking without notice and the Guest will forfeit the Guest’s deposit which will be non-refundable in such circumstances.

We understand that things can change unexpectedly, and we want to make our cancellation policy as clear and fair as possible. If you need to cancel your booking for any reason, including a world pandemic, the following rules apply:

  • If your check-in date is over 16 weeks away, you will receive a refund of 75% of all monies paid, including bond, credit card charges, and any other applicable payments.
  • If your check-in date is within 8-16 weeks, you will also receive a refund of 50% of all monies paid, including bond, credit card charges, and any other applicable payments.
  • If your check-in date is within 8 weeks or less, all monies paid will be forfeited.

We strongly encourage guests to purchase travel insurance from the day of booking to protect themselves from unexpected circumstances.

We hope these guidelines provide clarity and understanding. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.

BOND

As per Highlife Holiday Properties policy a Security Bond of $1000.00 is payable on all holiday properties. This amount can be charged to a credit card or paid with a bank cheque or cash and is paid before you arrive for the stay. The amount is fully refundable once the stay has finished, the clean has been completed and no damage has been found. If damage is found by the cleaning company, a further check will be done to determine the extent of the damage and any amounts to be withheld from the bond.

INSURANCE

Highlife Holiday Properties recommends that the Guest takes out comprehensive holiday cancellation and protection insurance with a reputable insurance company to cater for any unforeseen circumstances which may arise including accident, ill health or any other matters beyond the Guest’s reasonable control, as once the booking has been made and confirmed, the Guest will be responsible for payment of the full rental whether or not occupation of the Property occurs.

 

ADDITIONAL FEATURES (IF ANY)

If additional features such as a swimming pool, vehicles, boats or other facilities are shown in the brochure as being available at the Property concerned at an additional cost to the Guest, the additional charges (if any) will be paid at the time of use unless otherwise stated in the confirmation. The Guest acknowledges that the use of any additional amenities is entirely at the Guest’s risk and neither Highlife Holiday Properties nor the Owner shall accept any responsibility for any injury, loss or damage to property or any third party arising form the use thereof.

GUESTS PROPERTY

All personal belongings, luggage, vehicles and other property of the Guest, of any description, shall be the Guest risk at all times and neither Highlife Holiday Properties nor the Owner accepts any responsibility for any loss or damage thereto.

GUESTS OBLIGATIONS IN RESPECT TO THE PROPERTY

The Guest shall be responsible for the Property during their stay. The Guest shall take reasonable care of the Property and shall leave the Property, including all utensils, fixtures, fittings and equipment on, in or about the Property in a clean and tidy condition, at the end of the stay. The Guest shall be liable for any breakages or damage caused to the Property or any part thereof or any of the chattels therein that may occur during the Guest’s occupation of the Property and all costs of repair and replacement thereof shall be payable from the Guests bond at the end of the stay. Any damage or breakage to any part of the Property or any of the chattels therein shall be reported to Highlife Holiday Properties as soon as practicable after the damage occurring thereto.

PERSONS TO OCCUPY THE PROPERTY

The Guest may only allow the Property to be occupied by the number of persons nominated in the Guest’s application and under no circumstances shall the number of people occupying the Property be greater than that appearing on the Guest’s application or the booking confirmation whichever is the lesser.  Highlife Holiday Properties and the Owner reserve the right to refuse occupation of the Property to the Guest if the number of people intended to occupy the Property is greater than the number of people nominated to be occupying the property at the time of booking.Highlife Holiday Properties and the Owner reserve the right to revoke or refuse to honour any property accommodation booking which may in the opinion of either party (and at their sole discretion) be unsuitable for the Property concerned.

REPRESENTATION

The Guest acknowledges that Highlife Holiday Propertieshas used its best endeavors to describe the Property to the Guest within the limited extent of the communications between the Guest and Highlife Holiday Properties. Highlife Holiday Properties shall not be liable to the Guest in any respect should the Guest consider the Property to be unsuitable for any reason whatsoever. All information in respect of the Property contained in Highlife Holiday Properties brochure is believed to be correct at the time of the printing, however all details contained in the brochure are subject to change by Highlife Holiday Properties and the Owner without notice. Highlife Holiday Properties will not accept any responsibility for any alterations to the Property or any part thereof beyond Highlife Holiday Properties control or any liability for any matter or occurrences beyond reasonable control including damage caused by extreme weather conditions, break down of appliances, wiring, plumbing, invasion of pests, or any act or omission on the part of the Owner causing loss, accident or injury to the Guest or any one or more of them.

RESEDENTIAL TENANCIES ACT NOT APPLICABLE

The Guest and Owner acknowledge and agree that the Rental Agreement to which these conditions apply is entered into, for the purpose of the Guest having the right to occupy the premises for a holidy stay, within the meaning of Section 5 (2) (e) of the Residential Tenancies Act 1987 as amended ("the Act") and the parties to the agreement agree and confirm that the provisions of the Act shall not apply to the Rental Agreement.
